The Certificate II and Certificate III in General Education for Adults is a Nationally Accredited Qualification - and is open to young people 15 to 24. See below for entry criteria.
This qualification can enable holders to apply for a variety of TAFE courses or apprenticeships and may lead to re entry into school to further their education.
The Course is provided cost free and all equipment is provided by the Project. Depending on interest levels there may be opportunities for special activities, these may incur a cost.
Participants will study the following modules:
- Learning Plan and Portfolio
- A Major Project
- Reading and Writing
- Numeracy and Mathematics, and
- A range of electives (some have a small cost)
EMPLOYABILITY SKILLS can be defined as those skills required to get and keep a job.
These skills do not stand alone but are tightly integrated with the individual’s personal values. This course focuses on developing these values by encouraging self management, responsibility, initiative, integrity and a sense of self worth.
There are 2 courses per year, commencing January and July.

Entry Criteria
Participants must be :
- 15 - 24 years of age
- unemployed and not in any other training
