ET Australia’s Senior First Aid course teaches the fundamental principles, knowledge
and skills to enable the first aider to provide emergency care for injuries and illnesses,
in the home or the workplace.
This course has been designed for people who: -
- require first aid to work within an industry
- who are, or wishing to be, workplace first aiders
- want to have the skills and knowledge to confidently manage emergency
situations, providing care for the ill or injured until medical aid arrives
The course is delivered over a 2 day period or one day ‘refresher’ courses are offered
for people who have previously completed Senior First Aid training.
The current industry standard is for this course to be updated every 3 years with the
CPR component being updated every 12 months.
Upon successful completion students are issued with either a Statement of Attainment (aligned to accredited training) or a Certificate of Participation (non accredited).
