8/4/09 – Andrew – Certificate III in Aged Care Work – The course was of a high standard and the teaching methods were excellent. Marion was a wonderful teacher who used good methods to get good results and confidence instilled in her students for entering the workforce. Work experience and competency assessments were my favourite part of the course.
8/4/09 – Terry – Certificate III in Aged Care Work – very high quality training and of a professional nature – easily of university quality. Work experience very useful as were TV programs. Very comprehensive for the time allocated. Visits by outside people were particularly interesting – especially SALVO DAVE – what an example!! Marion’s input from her experiences was very helpful.
21/1/09 - Sandy - Certificate III in Aged Care - I just want to tell you how grateful I am for all you have done. I cant believe were I am now to where I was in October. I have not only made it through the course thanks to you but I also have a casual job that I love (also thanks to you), and even if it doesn't lead to more work with Mackillop, its given me industry experience that can factor into me getting a job with another company. I know I can speak for Jen as well when I tell you we think your FABULOUS, a great teacher and a really good person.
3/7/08 - Jake - Certificate III in Business – ‘The course really helped me in giving an insight to business and I have better computer skills eg typing, Excel, Word, Powerpoint. It has given me motivation to apply for jobs and make the ‘scary’ follow up calls.’
22/9/08 – Tina – Certificate III in Aged Care Work – ‘The course is very valuable for learning about aged care work. Interesting, a great course to do if interested in a nursing career. Friendly staff always helpful.’
